  • WRITER - DIRECTOR

Bettina is a Venezuelan storyteller and filmmaker.

Having spent her childhood moving across borders, first to Mexico then to the United States, Bettina has always been fascinated by reality as a subjective construct. Her work often centers on overlooked or forgotten characters who challenge their own realities and the limits the world imposes on them. Despite her stories being grounded, she readily employs magical realism to connect with the audience in unexpected ways.

After graduating from the University of Southern California, she worked with and mentored under director Michael Gracey (“The Greatest Showman"). It was during this time that she learned how to push the limits of cinematic storytelling through visual language.

Most recently, Bettina served as a co-writer on Netflix’s animated film “Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie” and the writer-director of Audible’s fiction podcast “PREVIA: A Tech Heist,” starring Alan Cumming and Melissa Fumero.

His awe-inspiring visuals, rendered with sublime composition and light, transport viewers into a realm of grandeur and emotion. From bustling cityscapes and rolling hills, to towering glaciers and historic destinations, Camilo captures each image with an eye for extraordinary beauty, adding depth and sensitivity to each story he tells.

  • PRODUCER

Marilyne is a queer writer, director, and producer hailing from rural Quebec. With an academic background in theatre and performance arts from UQAM in Montreal, Marilyne's studies focused on the intriguing intersections of physicality, performance, and sexuality.

Fueled by a profound desire to challenge the limits of our perceptions, Marilyne finds inspiration in crafting narratives that exist "5 degrees to the left of reality." This distinctive approach generates a sense of unease, engendered by our distorted perceptions. Her work, imbued with themes revolving around body performance, complex identities, and emancipation, reflecting her background and profound curiosity.

Marilyne brings a decade of diverse experience to the table, having served as a dramaturg for the play "Kink" (Montreal, 2018), producer for "The Deep" Season 4 (2022), "Ladybug and Cat Noir: The Movie" (2023), and "Everything Else" (2023). Most recently, she took the helm as director for "Heirloom" (2023).
